The Glycemic is a table of measurements which tells how quickly food will be converted by the body into blood sugar (blood glucose). If a food is low Glycemic index, it will take a long time to convert into blood sugar. A food high on the Glycemic index quickly becomes glucose. The Glycemic index is important because foods which are slowly digested helps to stay fuller longer and keep blood sugar stable. The rice diet program actually has little do with rice. The rice diet program is basically a low-fat and low-salt that leads on a path to obtain a good health.

The rice diets program is very effective for both weight loss and becoming healthier. Any weight loss program can be enhanced and made to work better and faster. This phase includes vegetables, beans and other carbohydrates, in addition to grains and fruits. People can have fish once in a week.
