In this study it was found that if the total carbohydrate intake is held constant then there are more chances of eyes being getting old is reduced by two folds. This diet taken was a Low GI diet. Thus, the persons prone to having AMD can control and delay this phenomenon's for its disability and its cost. Benefits of Low GI diets Thus, it is concluded that persons who are suffering from AMD and the persons who are prone to suffering the AMD disease can greatly benefit from having low GI diet.
